“We had such a giggle”

“Cocoon & Me was the perfect choice for our hen do activity! Paula was absolutely lovely - so calm & patient. Even though not everyone knew how to knit, the activity didn’t require any prior experience.

With Paula’s clear instructions, we all got the hang of it quickly! We had such a giggle & enjoyed listening to Paula's stories. We finished on schedule & had plenty of time for photos with our gorgeous handmade blankets! Highly recommend!

Thank you Paula x”

“relaxed & fun evening”

“We had a fun & productive girls night arm knitting our fabulous blankets. Paula came to us and made it a relaxed & fun evening, making sure we all knew what we were doing.

Our ability ranged from having never knitted to having knitted a bit & we all ended up with a blanket we were proud of.

We enjoyed it so much we have now booked in a Pom Pom Wreath session!”

“patient & relaxed teaching style”

“Thank you Paula for a great private session making hanging baskets and Christmas stars in you wonderful home studio. Having originally bought an experience to attend one of your workshops for myself & Mother we extended the party to include my wife & daughter & went for the private session.

We had a great time learning the ropes ‘literally’, after a few stumbles to start with your patient & relaxed teaching style got us on track to complete our projects with much laughter along the way. It was great to do something a bit different that three generations of our family could enjoy together, having great fun & being able to take home the product of our labour. Heartily recommend it to others looking for a fun family activity😊”

Pauls S - Family Macramé Workshop

“fantastic host”

"I booked the macramé workshop with Cocoon&me as my sister loves crafts & it felt like a special activity for her hen do - & I'm so glad I did because we all had a such a good time. Paula brought the workshop to us so that we could enjoy our accommodation (& a prosecco or two) whilst we worked. She had a variety of products & colours for us to choose from so the activity felt really tailored, especially the dog leads which went down particularly well with the group! She was a fantastic host, taking the time to teach us all & made sure we had a laugh in the process, & her swift communication & organisation beforehand was greatly appreciated. It was such a fun workshop & I'd highly recommend to other hen parties or get togethers."

“Fun afternoon”

“Everyone had such a fun afternoon creating their blankets & loved the additional pompom making at the end of the session. Paula is such a fabulous teacher - very patient & very calm. Highly recommend!”

“It was such a fun activity to work on as an extended family team, with Paula there to instruct & guide us”

“My daughter Ruby wanted a festival style wedding, which would involve the family in helping with the decorations for the venue. She had an idea of a colour scheme & Paula helped design the decorations based on that.

We collected coloured fabrics in advance, then we booked a session with the three generations of family to make the decorations with Paula. We spent a very enjoyable afternoon creating unique strip bunting & large feature ‘chandelier’ style decorations. It was such a fun activity to work on, with Paula there to instruct & guide us. Ruby’s Grandma loved being included in the activity & helped with the preparations.

The end results were stunning & were much admired by the guests, it felt so special to know we had created them. I would really recommend the whole experience as a more personal & individual way to prepare for a wedding or similar celebration.”

Gill B - Wedding Decorations

“Paula was so warm & friendly that all the women felt at ease with her.”

“Our festival style wedding was a real team effort with all our family & friends getting involved. I knew that I wanted to have our favourite people involved in decorating the tent and field. Following discussions with Paula we agreed on creating a decorated archway. She organised a pompom making workshop at my hen do & let us take away wool to carry on making them afterwards.

Paula was so warm & friendly that all the women felt at ease with her. Her instructions were very clear & even those of the group that weren’t confident crafters loved the workshop. Thank you so much Paula for helping us add such a personal element to the hen do.

I know my friends will be booking Cocoon&me for future hen dos! Thank you so much!”

“Really enjoyable”

“A really enjoyable WI Social event arranged for us by Paula.

We had opted for the macramé pot holder workshop. With Paula’s tuition, guidance & handy notes all of us felt a real sense of achievement at the end of the evening when we went away with our completed pot holders.

Thanks to Paula & her great organisation, we will definitely look to schedule in another workshop soon.”
