Champion Colour Friday with Us!
For the second year running, we’re proud to be skipping Black Friday in favour of something far more vibrant: Colour Friday! Today we’ll be celebrating the creativity, colour, & heart that small businesses bring to communities across the UK.
This movement began four years ago to flip Black Friday on its head, & each year it’s grown, encouraging people to support small business that put soul into every product.
Christmas can be make-or-break for many small businesses; choosing to shop independent can have an incredible impact.
This Colour Friday, we invite you to shop mindfully & choose gifts that tell a story, from small businesses that bring a special warmth to every sale. Each purchase you make with a small business is a vote for a more unique, sustainable, & joyful economy. So, if you’re planning to give thoughtful gifts this Christmas, why not do it with us or other independent businesses.

A Week Full of Creativity
This past week has been packed with festive workshops that brought together creativity & community, & some heart warming family moments, including several mother & daughter duos! Whether you're coming alone, coming along with friends or sharing the experience with family members, our workshops are the perfect way to connect & create together.
On Thursday, we hosted an Arm Knit Blanket workshop at The Cricketers in Worthing, where attendees crafted cosy blankets perfect for the season.
Sunday saw us back at Pitfield Barn in Hurstpierpoint for two festive sessions: a morning Macramé Shooting Stars, where participants created beautiful decorations, & an afternoon Pom Pom Wreath Workshop filled with unique & colourful designs.
On Wednesday, we introduced our new Christmas Stocking with Macramé Detail Workshop at Rockwater, one of our favourite cosy venues in Brighton & Hove. With mince pies, mulled wine, & plenty of festive cheer, it was a magical evening of crafting. We're already looking forward to including this in next year’s Christmas workshop line up, & we’re even considering making it into a kit!
