New Workshop Alert!
Macramé Vase Cover & Cut Flower Experience
Weâre so excited to introduce a brand-new workshop, perfect for the spring season! Join us at Pitfield Barn for a relaxing & creative experience that blends macramĂ© with beautiful, locally grown flowers.
The workshop begins with an introduction from Emma of Pitfield Barn, who will share insights into their sustainable flower farm before taking you on a guided tour of the flower fields. A selection of seasonal flowers will be pre-cut for you. Weather permitting, you may have the chance to cut a few extras to add to your bouquet.
Back in the workshop studio, enjoy a tea/coffee & cake break before learning the art of macramé. Paula will guide you through the process of creating a beautiful macramé vase cover, perfect for displaying your hand-picked flowers at home.
The vase cover is made using soft, durable, 5mm recycled cotton cord in a range of colours. We also have two styles of apothecary bottle vases that you can choose from.
We have two dates available:
Sunday 27th April
Sunday 8th June
Book your spot & enjoy a truly special creative day out!

A Cosy Afternoon of Arm Knitting at Pitfield Barn
Despite the chilly weather outside, we had a wonderfully snug & creative morning at Pitfield Barn on Saturday, crafting beautiful arm knit blankets in the warmth of the workshop studio. Itâs always such a joy to see everyone leave with a cosy, handmade creation - perfect for these cooler Spring days!
A couple of participants even chose to add tassels as an extra finishing touch, giving their blankets a unique finish!
If youâd love to join us for a relaxing & rewarding workshop in this stunning countryside setting, our next Arm Knit Blanket Workshop at Pitfield Barn is on Sunday, 27th April. Donât miss the chance to learn this fun, tactile craft & create your very own luxuriously soft blanket.
