New Workshop - Return of the ‘Anita’ Bag 

Back by popular demand!

We’re excited to reintroduce the 'Anita' Cross Body Bag—the very first bag we ever created as part of our kit collection, & one that’s been requested time & time again. After lots of lovely interest at Hive & Pitfield, we’ve added it back to our workshop line up!

In this workshop, you’ll use a beautiful soft recycled braid to crochet the body of the bag, then finish it with a simple macramé strap & premium metallic hardware. Stylish, practical, & surprisingly easy to make, the 'Anita' is the perfect everyday accessory—& now you can make your own.

We have this workshops scheduled to run at two venues so far:
at Pitfield Barn, Hurstpierpoint on Sunday 8th June & at Hive Design Studio, South Croydon on Saturday 18th October.

Sunshine Workshops

With Easter just around the corner & spring in full bloom, we’ve been soaking up the sunshine—& the creativity—at our recent workshops!

On Sunday 6th April, the sun shone brightly on our Arm Knit Blanket Workshop at KHY in Beckenham. Many of the lovely participants were friends & family —including three generations of women crafting together while Granny was visiting from the USA! A lovely mother-daughter duo also joined us, enjoying the experience as a birthday gift from another family member. It made for a very special afternoon full of connection, & beautiful blankets.

Then on Saturday 12th April at Hive Design Studio, we kept the creativity flowing with a day of colourful workshops—Crochet Baskets, Sophie Bags, & Macramé Dog Leads. The studio was buzzing with bright yarns, great chats, & lots of learning. It was so rewarding to see everyone’s skills grow as their confidence soared!

Spring is the perfect season for new beginnings—& what better way to celebrate than by learning something new, meeting like-minded people, & making something with your own two hands?
