Our ‘Anita’ cross body bag is a quick & easy project using two crafts that work well together - crochet & macramé. Perfect for those who are new to both crafts, or skilled in one & would like to learn the other. This pattern is simple & a gentle way to learn or brush up on old skills
The Crochet stitch is quite simple, for a clean & modern look. The Macramé strap uses a basic Square knot which was the first knot I learnt to create.
The yarn we have selected for the bag works well with both & is a lovely 5mm cord in soft recycled braid.
The bag is so practical &is the perfect size to hold all your essentials, phone, purse, sunglasses, lipstick & keys! We now have several in different colours & they always get great complements! This simple design with its clean lines looks very stylish & the addition of the metal hardware adds a unique detail that gives it a modern twist.

Materials in Kit
Hard Copy Pattern
1 x 100m ball of 5mm Braided Cord (recycled Cotton)
10mm Crochet Hook (made from recycled plastic waste)
1 D Ring
1 Clasp

Scissors
S Hook (optional for Macramé)
